Frequently Asked Questions
We get a lot of common questions and it’s tough answering them over and over again, so hopefully this FAQ will cover some of your inquiries.
NO, DISCORD WHOOVES IS NOT RELATED TO WHOOVES AND ASSISTANT AND NEVER WILL BE.
Q: When’s the next animated episode?
A: We don’t do the animations. We’re a radio play, and all animated episodes are fan-made and out of our control.
Q: Which Doctor is your Doctor? 9th, 10th, 11th?
A: Our Doctor is in fact, the 12th Doctor. He has no idea how or why he’s in Equestria, or how he regenerated.
Q: Will we be seeing Daleks/Weeping Angels/Discord/Master/Insert villain here?
A: We can’t tell you what we have in store because it would ruin the surprise. What we can say, however, is that you will be seeing both new AND familiar foes. Also, we want to save the big bads for the later half of the series.
Q: Will we be seeing Dinky and Sparkler?
A: Yet another thing we can’t say. What we can say, however, is that Derpy does not have a daughter so she is not abandoning any children by leaving.
Q: What about other characters, like Colgate, Amy and Rory, etc etc…?
A: Let’s just assume we want to keep all characters a surprise for now.
Q: Will there be another companion besides Derpy/Ditzy?
A: Yes! But that’s all you get to know until episode 8.
Q: How many episodes are you planning to make?
A: Right now we have 26 episodes planned out, some of them being in 2 parts. We’re always trying to think of new ideas though, so that is subject to change. We DO know how the story ends, though.
Q: Can I be a voice actor for your series?
A: As much as we’d love to bring more people aboard, we will not be accepting offers at this time. We have access to many VAs right now that we trust, and for the sake of producing episodes at a faster rate with good quality we will always go to those actors first. BUT, that’s not to say we wont need more of you in the future. We have lots of plans, and sometimes some people may not be able to play what we’re looking for, and we will hold auditions when those times come.
Q: Can I help with the script? I have lots of great ideas!
A: Thanks but no thanks. We have a small team of people working on the script right now, and we really can’t afford to have clashing ideas. You are more than welcome to submit an episode suggestion, but beyond that we can’t accept strangers into this project with such an important role.
Q: I submit an idea, how do I know if you’ll use it?
A: You wont. We want to keep everything a surprise, and if your idea is used, you’ll know when it happens. Other than that, you’ll just have to cross your fingers. We appreciate ideas, of course, but we can’t use everything.
